Fishpass Inc., Focus Systems Corporation, and Leave a Nest Co., Ltd., together with the project's academic partners, have been conducting the TASUKI -襷- Project since June 1, 2024. The project challenges aquatic biodiversity assessment with the next generation.
On March 20, 2025, Tachikawa Metropolitan High School and Musashi Metropolitan High School, the first participating schools, presented the results of six months of surveys in the Tama River system at the general meeting of the Akikawa Fisheries Cooperative Association, which manages and maintains the river system.
Through this project, we will continue expanding our work to help the next generation notice the richness of nature and take action by exploring the current state of the global environment, where diverse organisms live, and its connections with human society. The project is scheduled to continue in a second term, and new participants are welcome.
